Vorndran Family,
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you. Jim was part of our family and will be deeply missed - we shared many holidays with him, as well as golfing. He was a fun, kind and genuine man.
The day of his memorial, I attended the "Raintree Golf Club Leukemia outing" and the proceeds were given to the "Leukemia Foundation" in his honor.

To the Vorndran Family:
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Jim. I remember Jim as one of my high school friends with an incredible voice. I have great memories of being with Jim in South Pacific (freshmen year), Annie Get Your Gun (sophomore year), and Oklahoma (junior year). Although I have not seen him since high school, I’m sure he was a great family man. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Vorndran Family and Friends,
May you always remember the good times spent, the heartfelt words, and love that you had with Jim. I had the pleasure to go to church with him and can tell that he was FULL of life and lived what he told others. I wish I had gotten to know him better but I know one day, we will meet him again, and he can show us his new home. God bless you and may God give you the comfort, peace and strength to get through the days ahead.

To the Vorndran family,
Mr. Vorndran is the father of my best friend, Megan. Although I only met him once when he was sick, he was full of life and always had a positive thing to say. We talked about a lot of things, but what I remember the most was sports. We were talking about how the Cleveland Indians and NASCAR. I realized how much we had in common and how I now wish I could of gotten to know him better. He meant a lot to both Megan and Jack, and I cannot believe this is happening in their lives. Mr. Vorndran was a strong fighter throughout the whole process and he is definitely a hero to many. My thoughts and condolences go out to the family and you all will be in my prayers.

To the Vorndran family,
I was a class mate of Jim’s, I was so hoping he was going to be at our 30 year reunion on the 1st of Aug. so I could see him. I had brought a DVD of movies I had when our band went to Canada and had a lot of Jimmy in it. I know he would have enjoyed it. If anyone is the family would like a copy of it please let me know, and I will get on in the mail. [email protected]
I have many memories of Jimmy from our high school years in band and the musicals that he had a lead part in. His memory will always be apart of many happy times from my high school years. My thoughts are with the whole family, I know how hard it is to loose a Father and Brother, you miss them every day but know they are watching over us.

Dear Debbie and Family,
Jim was a priceless treasure that found his way into many hearts. He was a great, passionate, man of God that desired to see everyone he cared for and loved to come to know Christ. It is a great loss to us, on earth, but what a great and awesome gain in heaven. We will see him again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
