Lo, It's so strange or maybe not ,that you and Jennifer talked about the togetherness between your mum and you. It was the first thing I said to my mum when I went over to tell them the sad news. We were also saying how much time you spent with each other. You will treasure the memories of the time and closeness of your very special , unique relationship. I don't know any mother daughter relationships like yours.
I treasure the time I had with your mum when I came over for your 50th. Do you remember I asked her to bring over photo albums and to tell me a little of her life? And the story of the red bag!!!! that was unreal.I spent a long time sitting on the arm of her chair in your den looking at old pictures.
Another memory just popped into my mind. Staying with you and your parents on my first visit to the U.S. Her cracking up with fits of laughter that I went skinny dipping in the sea! She couldn't quite get over that one. Or her trying to stuff me with food. "Eat eat, you haven't eaten anything."
But my first memories of her and of you was , " a visit from the American Aunty Margot, Uncle Paul and my cousins John and Lois!!! So exciting.
As issachar said there really won't be anyone else quite like her.
My love, thoughts and prayers are with you today, and every day. I have a yartzeit candle burning for her in our sitting room.
I like to think that Orli has also come over to greet your mum and that they are having a wonderful reunion in a world of peace, warmth with no pain.
much love steph x

Mark and Lois:
I am very sorry to have heard about the passing of the sweet and gentle Oma. She was very nice and I enjoyed the few times I was able to be around her. I know you spent countless hours visiting at Hooverwood and being by her side. My condolences to you both as I know she lived a very full and enjoyable life.

Our prayers are lifted for your family as you mourne her death and celebrate her life. Like David she influenced all who came in contact with her with her quick smile and dancing eyes.
