Joseph Mark Weigman
60, of Camby passed away on May 28, 2012 in Meadow Lakes. He was born on September 1, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph Martin Weigman and Marie Ilardo Weigman.
Mark lived 27 years in Camby. He was a 1973 graduate of Cornell University where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Indianapolis in September of 1984 to work for Allison Turbine and stayed with the company through its acquisition by Rolls Royce where he finished his career as a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist.
Mark was a long-time parishioner at St. Thomas Moore Church in Mooresville where he was noted for his volunteer work. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, Council 7431, and a Past Grand Knight.
Mark is survived by two brothers, Stewart Matthew of London, England, and Brice Martin of Belfast, New York; and one sister, Christina Browning of Ridgefield, Connecticut; eight nieces and nephews, Sarah Weigman of Alexandria, Virginia, Emma and Clare Weigman of Putnam Valley, New York, Alex and Andrew Weigman of Belfast, New York, and Tess, Caspar and Sophie Browning of Ridgefield, Connecticut. He is preceded by 1 brother, Eric Mitchell Weigman.
There will be Memorial Service at St. Thomas Moore Church in Mooresville at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012, with visitation in the Church Hall from 10:00 a.m.
