A resident of Greenwood and of the Southland Community Church Congregation in Greenwood, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 15th, 2012.
The viewing to pay respects to Sherrie and her family will be held at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center at 300 S.U.S. 31 (Morton St.) in Franklin, IN 46131 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, November 19th. The Reverend Steve Shellin will conduct a service celebrating the life of Sherrie Jo Buchanan on Tuesday, November 20th at Noon in Southland Community Church, 5800 W. Smith Valley Rd., Greenwood, IN 46142.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to the Center Grove Education Foundation, for the Sherrie Buchanan Memorial Teacher Grant Program, 4800 West Stones Crossing Road Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
