I am so sorry that we were not able to attend Your dad's funeral. I have the flu. Mr. Everett was a huge part of my life at 89. He always kept up on our family news and shared his. We at school 89 were like a family with your dad as our dad too! We so enjoyed his Christmas cards and continuing Christmas letters! We loved visiting him and attending his plays! His best advice for sick children was to give them a cracker....and it worked! I send my love and sympathy to all of you. May God give you peace knowing where your dad is, and being told,"Well done you good and Faithful servant".

Don and I remembered him when he came to our former church at Southport Heights to learn sign language to help Evelyn to understand since she lost her hearing. We also came to their assistant living apt once a week to eat dinner with them and play games afterwards. He will be missed by us and many of his friends and family. God bless his family. I left school 72 in 1966, and I always counted him as my friend. He was kind, amiable and a good principal; the kind sorely lacking in today's world. Godspeed, Mr. Everett...
