Col. Kenneth William Siegesmund
Dr. Kenneth William Siegesmund, D.D.S., 100, Kokomo, formerly of Indianapolis, began his eternal journey with his Lord and Savior at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014. He was born September 22, 1913.
Dr. Siegesmund was a 1932 graduate of Hobart High School and graduated from Indiana University in 1938. After graduating from dental school in 1938, Ken was inducted into the U.S. Army as a first lieutenant in the Dental Corps. He retired after 30 years of service. Col. Siegesmund returned to Indianapolis and had a private dental practice for 30 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Bassett and her husband William Weston Bassett, Sr., three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 am Friday at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, Kokomo. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, Lincoln Road Chapel, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour before the service at the church.
