Barbara & Boys,
Joe and I are so sorry to hear about the death of Joe. Since we received the news, we have had many happy memories of you, Joe and the boys. Joe was the fun loving guy at Halloween with cereal and peanut butter on his face to appear as an old woman scaring the kids at first and later making them laugh. We remember the dummy falling out of the tree suspended by a rope meant to scare those kids who were out trick or treating. Joe was the handy guy in the neighborhood always willing to give advice and lend tools to help us complete a project. Where have all of those years gone? We have so many fond memories of life on Euclid Ave. and neighbors on Shannon. Hard to believe it has been 31 years since we moved to Illinois. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Barb, I am so sorry that I can't be there to help support you at this time. Joe and I had so many mutual memories as little cousins, especially our Sundays with our grandparents. At one time we were going to be the next great accordian duo. (As if there ever was one.)
As adults with our own families, we had to love each other from a great distance, but when we got together it was like we had never been apart.
I will truly miss "Kenny Joe" and know that God will comfort you in your darkest hours. Lean on Him! Hug your boys and feel Joe's warmth.

My Unkle..
I guess the first thing that comes to my mind is when you would come over when I was a weee lil girl in the dead of winter and tell me that the Dairy Queen was open knowing that our DQ was seasonal and then leave after getting me all worked up.
Then of course dad had to take me and show me that it was closed and how you were teasing..Linders only offered hand dipped ice cream so that was the peace offering for me to stop crying. That was one of your favorite teases to me. I know you had to be belly laughing inside. ????????
I ??love ya.

Barb and boys, The loss of Joeis such sad news and my heart aches for all of you. You all have been such a big part of our lives especially while our kids grew up. Barb and Joe and all of you had a big impact on Scott and Chris with all the years you watched them and the times they just hung out at your house it was their second home and you were a second family. Thank you for sharing those years with our boys and know we love you all very much. Wish words could make this easier, but know we care.
Love, Cheryl and RayBob Spencer
