I miss you so much Brenda. I have so many questions that I would love for you to answer about travel, politics, and just life in general. You were my life instructor and I will always love you.

I am so sorry to hear of Brenda's passing. I had a compulsion simply to google Brenda's name this evening, and just came across this death notice. I have often thought of Brenda, especially since my own mother died this time last year, and have thought of reestablishing contact with my 'black mama' as she used to call herself.
