I miss you so much Brenda. I have so many questions that I would love for you to answer about travel, politics, and just life in general. You were my life instructor and I will always love you.

I am so sorry to hear of Brenda's passing. I had a compulsion simply to google Brenda's name this evening, and just came across this death notice. I have often thought of Brenda, especially since my own mother died this time last year, and have thought of reestablishing contact with my 'black mama' as she used to call herself. I am gutted that it is now too late. Pamela and Vincent, my heart goes out to both of you. Donald Holloway ([email protected])

She was truly one of a kind. Honest, caring, and very out spoken. But her heart was always open to help anyone that came her way. She will never be forgotten in my heart. Mary Ramsey
