Shelia, Donald Wayne, and Mother of this Precious Child
I can only say that I am so very sorry for your loss. The day comes when the Lord will call and we will all have to answer. I feel so inadequate in making some attempt to express my empathy for the sorrow you must surely feel. God bless each of you with perfect peace and a rest that surpasses all understanding. May he keep you perfectly sheltered under His wings.

Dear Family:

I have had Brett in my class at Chipola this semester. He was always a perfect gentleman and some days he would carry my box of books to class for me. He studied and always made amusing remarks in our discussions. Our entire class (both my 9:00 and 10:00 class) has mourned this week. We will truly miss your son. God bless you all as you go through this loss. My heart hurts for you.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Jackie,
There are no words to express what you must be experiencing at this time in your life. I will never forget what you told me at your house on Saturday about giving your last breath just to give Brett's life back. Those words from you have stayed with me. Please know that I love you and I'm praying for you and Jarice, and Jarice remember to keep those special memories of Brett close to your heart and he will always be with you. Love, Paula

Jackie and Jarice,
To you I write because I knew you and Brett well. I can hardly believe he's gone. It only seem like last week that I was helping him a good persuasive essay. Jarice, Please call me if you need to and Jackie I love you. May God give you the peace you need and I know he will keep you both in this time of darkness.

Jackie, there are no words anyone can say at a time like this to carry you through, but please know that Bill and Cody were very proud of their "Cuz" and how he had turned himself around. Brett worked hard to find himself again and pushed himself back toward his goals. He believed in himself and knew there was nothing he could not do and that was because he always knew you were there to love, support and believe in who he was. He will be an example for the other young people that it is never to late and that any of them can over come. You raised a great young man that will never be forgotten. You and the family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Jackie there are no words anyone can say at this time to help but know that Bill and Cody were very proud how their "Cuz" had truned his life around and everyone knows it was his decision and hard work to pick himself up, shake the past off and look to the future. But it was your love, support and belief in him that gave him the confindence to push himself forward, because he always knew he had you behind him. You are a great mother and you raised a wonderful young man who will never be forgotten. You and all the family will be in my thoughts and prayers

Jackie,
I am so sorry and my heart is broken for your family. I haven't seen Brett in several years but his picture looks just like I saw him last. He was a very sweet kid and I enjoyed being around him. I remember we went camping one week-end at Seminole State Park with Dwight and Theta Lolley and Brett got a fish hook stuck in his finger. I brought him back home and Donald just took a pair of pliars and snatched it out. Brett was so big about it and wanted to go right back fishing. He had the cutest personality. I know I can only imagine how you are feeling and that does not even come close as bad as it hurts me but I do want you to know you and your family are in my thougths and prayers. Kaye Boone

Jackie, Jarice and Family you know our hearts are heavy for you in this very difficult time. Brett was a very outgoing young man that will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May God keep you close to him and carry you through these rough days ahead. And may you all share in the wonderful memories Brett left you in your hearts. We love you all and know that God will keep and sustain you more than you know and give us wisdom to seek God so we can all be joined again with our loved ones who have gone on before us. Without God we would have no peace but praise his name we do. Mygala, Caz & Jayde Wester
