Karen, I am so glad I got to be your friend! You were so much fun to be around and had a huge heart! I will always cherish the fun times and laughter we shared!

I worked with Karen at St E many years ago. She was such an amazing nurse and wonderful role model for this new nurse. Always kind, professional and willing to do and teach anything. Nursing has lost an amazing caregiver. I know she has molded many, many new nurses in her image and has made our profession better for it. My sincere sympathies.

Dear Karen, You have been such a wonderful friend and nurse to so many. You have given so much of yourself to others. You touched so many lives....people you barely knew as you cared for their dying loved one.
Now as you rest in Jesus's arms allow the love and comfort that has awaited you and find peace with God in heaven above. Your long-lost friend, Theresa
