Margaret Drown Obituary
Margaret L. (Wepler) Drown, 65, of West Lafayette, died at University Place Health Center in West Lafayette 6:30 AM Saturday October 29, 2016. Margaret was born in Lafayette August 31, 1951, the daughter of the late Richard T. and Luella W. Wiesler Wepler. She was a 1969 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School; received her Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology from IUPUI and her Master's Degree from Purdue University in technical illustration. Margaret taught radiology at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, MS and later at Ivy Tech in Indianapolis. Due to ill health, she retired earlier in 2016 from St. Vincent Hospital in Frankfort, IN. She was a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, past president and member of the Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists and loved crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is a son, Ryan R. Drown (wife Holly) of West Lafayette; a sister, Judith Webb (husband Craig) of Cutler, IN and a brother, William "Bill" Wepler (wife Debra) of Anderson, IN. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Clayton Richard Drown, Ethan John Drown and Benjamin David Drown. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 2:00 PM until the service at 3:00 PM Wednesday Nov. 2, Lee Ann Wielser officiating. I started kindergarten with Peggi. I sat next to her in band playing our baritone horns. I have a lot of good memories that I will cherish. Rest in peace, my friend.

peggi was my neighbor on davis dr for many years, she was a very sweet girl, we could always talk to her, rest in peace peggi and fly high with the angels and your mom is now with you,

Many fond memories of Peggi when we were at IUPUI and working together at Arnett Clinic. She was a dedicated daughter,mother and grandmother. She will be missed.
