Matthew McMillin Obituary
Matthew K. McMillin, 35, of Lafayette, passed away at 8:22 am Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at his residence.
He was born April 7, 1980, in Lafayette, to the late Boyd McMillin and Kim Pritchard Snyder.
He graduated from Harrison High School in 1998 and attended Purdue University.
Matthew was an ordained minister and loved his job at State Farm, but most importantly was the caregiver of his grandmother.
Matthew was a member of the Purdue Alumni Association, and enjoyed spending time with his niece, nephew and friends.
Surviving are two sisters, Elizabeth F. ( Ramon) Munoz and Misty Snyder both of Lafayette, a brother, Joseph Snyder of Clarks Hill, his grandmother, Juanita Leck of Lafayette, and step-father, Edward Snyder Jr of Lafayette. Also surviving are a niece and nephew, Macie and Carter of Lafayette.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909.
Those wishing may contribute in Matthew's name to the American Heart Association or Susan G. Komen Fund.

I just learned of Matt's passing. It made me so sad. He was my fun filled insurance man. Yes, Matt brought humor into every thing he did. I think, I hear laughter coming down from heaven. I thought Matt might be a Christian but we never talked about that, then learned he was an ordained minister. The love of Jesus showed on his face. I will miss Matt but what comfort to know he is resting in the arms of Jesus.

I just learned of Matt's passing, I am sorry for your loss. Matt was great, I always walked out of Gina's office with a smile on my face. Even after we moved, talking to him on the phone every couple of months, he always brightened my day. He will be missed.

Matt, I miss you so much! You were my big brother,My protector, The one I looked up to. You brought laughter to my life so many times.You were the greatest Uncle to Carter and Macie I could have ever hoped for.They adored you so much. And I know you adored them just as much. We will cherish all the fun times we spent together. I loved you with my whole heart. I hope you knew that. I have a huge hole in my heart that will never be filled. Give mom a hug for me. Till we meet again.
