Suzanne, we were blessed to know you and Matt. I've read the comments from ship mates and sailors Matt influenced and the comments are awesome. He must have been one hell of a CO. We all know the CO's wife makes a big difference. After all, if the CO is happy everyone can be. You always supported him, moved, and taken care of your family. You always supported him. He could not have gone as far as he did without your support and love. The whole family has shown what it means to be a military family and you can all be proud of the difference you made in peoples lives and the defense of our country. Thank you all for all you've done. I wish I could be there to give you a hug and support. If I can do anything, please call.

Please accept my most heartfelt thoughts and deepest condolences in the loss of your husband, father, brother, uncle and Sailor. He is a shipmate that will be missed by those whom had the pleasure of meeting him and witnessing his ability first hand. When I was a very young Petty Officer onboard the Montgomery, Matt Bobola was one of the best young officers we had. He was always encouraging and helped make the best of every situation. I was blessed to speak with him a couple of weeks ago. To Suzanne, the children and the rest of the family, May God bless and keep you. We are praying with you. Just know that your husband and father made a difference far beyond what you can see. May he rest in peace. Fair Winds and Following Seas SHIPMATE.
