CAROLE E. BONNELL, 66 MOUNT CARROLL - Carole E. Bonnell, 66, of Mt. Carroll passed away on Monday, Jan 20, 2014, at her home. She was born on Nov. 12, 1947, in Ottumwa, IA, a daughter of Robert E. and Dorothy (Swendsen) Mueller. Carole and Randall Bonnell were married on Sept. 7, 1985, at the Blackhawk Monument at Kent. She formerly was employed at Walter C. Larson Children's Home in Rockford, and at the Mt Carroll Pharmacy Center. Carole enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Neysa Bonnell, flower gardening and listening to music. Surviving are her husband; her daughter, Michelle (Griffin) Masters of Machesney Park; three grandchildren, Zachary, Emma, and Ryan; two brothers, Robert( Donna) Mueller of Rockford, and Billy (Gwenn) Mueller of Shippensburg, PA.; one sister, Susan Henry of Lincolnshire; nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and an extended family. Preceding her in death were her parents. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at the Offenheiser-Schwarz Funeral Home in Pearl City, with Rev. Robert Phelps officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at Highland Cemetery in Pearl City in the Spring. A memorial will be established in her memory.
