Mildred Klepel Obituary

FRANKSVILLE - Mildred A. Klepel, 94, passed away Friday morning, October 10, 2008, in her home. She was born January 26, 1914, in Franksville the daughter of Arthur and Ethel (nee: Monty) Jacobs. Mildred married Harold Klepel on July 20, 1940, in Racine. He passed away on March 15, 1987. A homemaker, Mildred was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Racine, was a member of the Mother's Club in Franksville, and enjoyed embroidery, reading Christian books, gardening, fishing and was a soft ball pitcher years ago. She is survived by her loving children, Carol Klepel of Trevor, and Marvin Klepel of Franksville; two sisters Myrtle Molnar of Franksville, and Jean (Karl) Ciborowski of Racine. Mildred is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Ferdinand 'Fred' Drescher; a brother, Irving Jacobs; and five sisters, Irene Krizan, Marilyn Peterson, Lorraine Millard, Bernice Drescher, and Laverne Jacobs. Funeral services will be Monday, October 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, 3700 Washington Avenue, Pastors Thomas Chryst, and Randal Poppe officiating. Private burial will be in Caledonia Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the church. Pierce-Ruhland, and to aunt Mil and aunt Jean, and cousin Joyce for your help and loving care of mom during her final illness.
