RACINE - June Emily (nee: Lange) Trick, 83, entered into eternal life on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care-All Saints. She was born on June 5, 1928, to the late Donald and Meta Lange and lived her entire life in Racine. On January 12, 1952, June was united in marriage to Robert Ernst Trick in Yuma, Ariz. They celebrated 53 years of loving marriage, before he preceded her in death on June 15, 2005. June was a graduate of Wm. Horlick High School "Class of 1946", a member of the National Honor Society, and Vice President of her graduating class. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the St. John's Mission Guild. June loved to collect antiques and knickknacks and baked awesome banana bread. June and Robert enjoyed their travels around the world to Bora Bora, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, France, Africa, Egypt, Israel, Germany, Hawaii, and many other exotic places. June is survived by her children, Robin (Kent) Milaeger of Zephyr Cove, Nev.; Jeff (Lorie) Trick of Union Grove; Lana Kuiper (fiancée James Dresen) of Racine; Debbie (Dr. Randall) Olson of Seattle, Wash.; Brad (Jenny) Trick of Racine; 10 grandchildren, Becky (Doug) Stillman of Racine; Holly (Alex) Gamblin of Milwaukee, Stephen and Stewart Milaeger of Zephyr Cove; Christie (Nate) Jackowski of Rochester; Michelle Dougherty of Union Grove; Angela, Kaitlyn and Stephanie Olson of Seattle, Wash.; and Bradley Trick of Racine; six great-grandchildren, Isaac Schultz; River Stillman; Reese and Chase Jackowski; Conner Mingarelli; Keegan Dougherty; and, sisters Marilyn Gillmore and Linda Polzin, both of Racine; and brother Donald (Jacky) Lange of St. Augustine, Fla. She is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews, David (Debbie) Gillmore of Tempe, Ariz.; Randy (Crystal) Gillmore; Tammy (Greg) Davies; Renee Groen; Andy Polzin; Jennifer Wheeler of Dublin, Ohio; Jessica (Kirby) Nelson of St. Augustine; Loren (Cindy) Trick of Green Bay; Allen (Linda) Trick of DePere; Joel (Patricia) Trick of Maribel; Janna (Greg) Hughes of Abrams; sister-in-law Carol (Robert) Perttu; and, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2065 Geneva Street on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Gehne officiating. June will be laid to rest next to her husband at West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. and at church on Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. John's Lutheran Church, 1501 Erie Street, Music Program or Mission Guild would be appreciated.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mullane, Dr. Pierce-Ruhland, Dr. Taylor, and the staff at Wheaton Franciscan for their excellent care and for the tender hospice support and compassion.
