I was saddened to learn of Em's passing. I met Em as she shopped at a women's clothing store I worked at. Sometimes, Stan would remain in the car with the day's packages, sometimes Em's daughter-in-law would be along. As Em became our customer, I became Stan's. Em was a gracious lady who was a joy to serve. My heartfelt condolences go out to her surviving family members.

Mom,you were always my biggest cheerleader and champion. Your compliments were great confidence boosters. The most important lesson you taught me was even if you were in the background and not acknowledged, your actions and deeds would speak for you.Just like you dad, you didn't believe in "tooting you own horn'It's a tenet my family lives by. Mom, I love you and miss you. Your loving daughter, Susie

My dear, dear sister. She was there for me from the day I was born. No sisters could be so close and yet be quite different.
We were never jealous or envious of each other and rejoiced in any good fortunes one or the other experienced.
She always made me promise to take care of myself and when she would no longer be around to take care of Jim and Susie--a promise I will keep.

We had many rough times especially during the depression, but never felt poor because of the love of each other and our parents.

A lifetime together may be long, but seems too short. I could never begin to tell all the anecdotes, events and stories that occurred.

Simply, I will miss her very, very much, but I am happy that she is at peace and that she is still watching out for her little sister. Adell

Aunt Emmy was like a second mom to me. My mom is her sister and they talked on the phone every single day since we kids were tiny. That taught me to love and stay close to my siblings thru the years. Aunt Emmy endured a lot of hardship and physical ailments but she stayed gracious and upbeat and never took it out on anyone and that taught me a lot as well. She helped me develop a love for music and art and was a great cook! When I think of her, I think of a lovely home, big football mums, Emeraude perfume, lots of music, laughter and oh yes, she wore earrings every single day and was ultra-feminine. She had strong faith and was devoted to the Blessed Mother. She carried on the fun Polish traditions at Easter and Christmas. Aunt Emmy has always been very loving to my own children as well. I am a lucky person to be her niece.
