I was positive that I knew the importance of having my father as a part of my life. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how much it meant to me until he was gone. I miss you every day. I hope that your final moments brought you the relief from the pain you suffered in life.
I'll never forget you, and I'll do my best to honor the person that you were in every aspect of my life. I love you, Dad, and I'm glad for every moment of every day that I got to spend with you.

With everyday that passes, the reality sets in that you are really gone. It will be little things that remind me of your absence, like passing by the last place we were together or picking up the phone to talk about the game and remembering that you are not here. You have been a strong force in my life, a gentle giant with a huge heart. I will mourn you and miss you and love you until my last breath on this earth. I couldn't have asked for a better daddy than you!
Your "favorite" kid... Maria

Judy-
I was so sorry to learn of your loss. It's hard to believe it's been over forty years since we sat together at that table in the Student Union, and I'm sure that time flew by much too fastfor you. My most sincere condolences.

Rich was one of the good ones and the world is better for his having lived among us. I can't stand the thought of him being gone. But I guess he isn't really "gone", his soul lives on with our creator and in our hearts and momories. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Judy, and your wonderful family.

Mr. Freimark was like a man that just kept coming when I first laid eyes on him... He was so tall! I was like, WOW, Maria... your dad is really tall! He looked at me and said, "Whose child are you??? And why are you here???" Maria burst out laughing and said, "Dad, this is my friend from school, Kim." He looked at me again and said "Oh, Hi." and lumbered away. He had to duck under the door frame, which I thought was really cool! I also thought it was awesome that he encouraged Maria to go out for the football team at school! Coolest dad ever award goes to... Richard Freimark!!! Rest in Peace, Sir. God bless your family.
