My Grandpa, or "Papaw" as I called him as a child,is a very special man. He will always occupy a very special place in my heart.
Growing up with my Papaw left me with cherished memories that will stay with me the rest of my life. Whether we were rabbit hunting in the snow covered hedge rows west of Wichita, boating at Toronto Lake in the summer or planting his beloved garden in the spring, he made everything a fun experience for his Grandchildren.
We do all miss this very dear man and yet he will always be with us. We love you very much Papaw.

Juanita, we will miss Uncle Marvin greatly. You and all the rest of the family are in our prayers. I have a lot of fond memories of him and you. I wish we could be there but will be over when we return to Kansas. He was alwaays willing to help my dad while growing up. I even have a picture of when they were digging a line for water a block away in Augusta. His big garden could not be beat. Having grown up with your children also brings memories. We miss and love you all very much.

We've been good friends and neighbors for 20 years and we were blessed to know Marvin. I know he enjoyed puttering around in his yard and garden and making wood projects in his shop. I will treasure the wheel barrel and bird houses he's given us in the past years. He was very happy when making something. "I'll be sure and trim that bush Marvin!" God bless the family and help them heal in the loss of a great husband, father, grandfather and friend.
