I was saddened to hear about Harold's passing. He was a smart, kind, and energetic man. I started visiting with Harold when he owned the US Toy company and I would stop in to see him on my way home from grammar school. I always looked forward to visiting Harold and Betty when I was in the KC area. Their entire family is in my thoughts.

My heart goes out to Betty, Susie, Lexie, Mike and all of the family. Harold was an amazing boss, a strong man, and a role model. He gave me my first real job and taught me to put faith and family first. I will always be grateful for the lessons Harold and Betty taught me and they will always hold a special place in my heart.
Sincerely, Tammy Salyer-Groendyk
