Peggy, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Vic was a good man.. I remember many times in hangar 12, F/A would say " Vic made it happen" and remember all times I came in contact with him, he was always cheerful. May he rest in peace and you find comfort in knowing he was loved by all who knew him and how many life's he made were changed because of what he did.
He heels brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147 v3

Peggy,
Although it has been awhile since I saw you and Vic, I still remember our conversations (generally about our mutual love for animals) when the two of you were commuting to St. Louis. I am deeply saddened by your loss. My prayers are with you.

Dear Peggy, Marc and family:
I just learned about Vic, and I want you both to know that you are in my thoughts. Vic was a wonderful person, and I will always remember his caring smile whenever I saw him in the halls of Hangar 12. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15. Be Well, Mark

Peg:
Vic was an amazing man. He always talked of you and his eyes lit up! He was a joy to work with and a privilege to call 'friend'. I am going to miss his friendship, he was a part of NARS and loved by all.

I am so sorry about Vic. We were all shocked to hear he passed. He was the kindest most caring man I have ever met. After working with him all of these years at NARS I had nothing but respect for him-he loved his family, animals and his co-workers and he showed it constantly in the way he treated everyone. I will never forget the many trips we took closing down businesses-Vic worked circles around all of us. He loved his wine and he loved life and it was reflected everyday. There is not a person at NARS that did not love him! He will truly be missed....

Dear Peggy and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. Vic was one of the most kind-hearted, patient men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I'm so glad God saw fit to put him in my life for those few, too short, years in Variable Staffing. I'll always remember his kindness, his sense of humor (even during Christmas Eve snowstorms)and his smile. Wishing God's blessings to all of you in your time of sadness.

Vic was a real gentleman who loved his family and friends, always going the extra mile to smile and brighten our days with his caring and concern.
There are few people who pass through our lives and leave us with such wonderful memories.
Vic's sincerity, dignity and goodness will always be in our hearts as he always made every person who knew him, feel special.
Peggy, you always came through for Karen and I when we needed your support and if there is anything we can do for the family, we will be there for you, anytime, anywhere.

A long long time ago (gosh, it's got to be almost 50 years ago) Vic was my 3&2 baseball coach. To be honest, I was probably the least talented player on that team. But the thing about Vic (we always called him Vic, never coach) is that he made feel- made me KNOW- was it wasn't my talent or lack thereof that mattered. It was enough to be a member of the team. He was a great coach. I'll always remember his positive attitude, enthusiasm, patience, and especially his sense of humor. Vic shared those traits of his with every kid on that team. Looking back I realize Vic was the first adult I would have called a good guy. To me that is high praise. I also consider myself lucky in that I got a few rides in that Avanti he drove at the time. Thanks, Vic, that was a thrill.
My condolences to Vic's family. I treasure my memories of Vic from so long ago.

Peggy,I, truly know and and understand your feeling of loss and grief at this difficult time. However, you are blessed with a strong and loving big family to help you thru the days ahead. My memory of Vic was him sitting quite comfortably on that 'hideous' couch you loved so much in your old AA office. He ALWAYs had a warm smile and humorous twinkle in his eyes when I stopped by to say Hello. I shall keep you all in my prayers tonight. Fondly, Mary Ann Wahl and family

Dear Peggy and Family.
Vic represented the true heart and spirit of TWA. He was a real team player, always doing his best to help others. As one more member of the TWA family has now flown west - he will always be remembered for the true gentleman that he was.

Peggy and family
I worked with Vic in TWA-Central Crew Scheduling and I will always remember his smile, his outgoing personality. I hope the following poem will bring you comfort as it has me.
***All is Well***
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me and if you want to, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect,
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you,
For an interval,
Somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is well.
