I am so sorry to hear of Marge's passing. She was a creative and unique person who was my neighbor 40 years ago when Laura was a baby. We took our GED classes together. I saw her wonderful paintings then that she had done in highschool. She was a great artist. My condolences to her family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Marge, we will miss you SOOO much! We have so many great memories of parties at your home, art shows and other awesome events that we attended together. Neither of us will ever forget the time that we drove to Topeka and what a wonderful day that was!

I cannont remember exactly when I met Marge. It may have been at the KC Artist Coalition, some art show or Clay Guild meeting but it seems like I have always known Marge. She had a kind heart, quick wit and unique view of the world. She was always so full of hope and encouragement for the people around her. Her talent as an artist was known to all her friends but never reached the world. How special for us and unfortunate for the world. Your art will be here for us to remember you by and keep us close to you. Till we meet in another time and place.

It seems that I've known Marge forever, but it's actually only been about 14 years. I've attended many parties at her house and she has attended parties at mine. She was a special and unique person and I will miss her.

Whenever Marge would visit me, she would bring clay for me to work. I told her I had no talent for it, but she insisted. A natural teacher, a bright and shining star in what is sometimes a dull world. I will miss her light.

My neighbor Marg
**who planted grass seed on the empty lot next to her home to honor her ability to use it
**who walked down to the Post Office parking lot with me late one night to confront the fuel truck for driving too fast down our little one way street and while I was speaking to the driver, she was writing down all the info on his truck(I was not aware that she was doing this)
so I could call and report him
**who would greet me with a smile and Hi Neighbor
**who loved the way those trees around her backyard gave her a private place to be
**who made it a point to pick up the trash that would blow our way
**who shared with me numerous private conversations over the years about her life's journey - how she was able to stop the homeless people entering her home before she was able to move into it , how she paid off her house, her relationships with her family members, her JOY in her Art Shows.
The conversations that we shared were quiet and spiritual, we listened to each other from our hearts. The thoughts and insights that she shared with me flowed from her understanding of the importance of forgiveness and love, joy and happiness - She lives in every blade of grass and every tree which dances in the wind

Marge only came into my life in 2006 when I was fortunate enough to have friends take me with them to her wonderful xmas party. I enjoyed her personality and flamboyance, an immensely interesting woman. She will be missed by all who knew her!

A wonderful light has gone out in this world, and the dimness will be felt interminably. Fare thee well, Marge, until we meet again.
Love,
