I am deeply sorrowed by this tragedy. I have so many memories of John and our adventures over the years. Hunting, fishing, etc.. He was just a very close friend for so long.

I did not know John, but was racing on Saturday and am deeply heartbroken at the tragedy. On the other hand, I am inspried by the strength of Sunni. May you and your family try to rejoice in knowing John is in Heaven now.

I only got to meet John once but thought of your beautiful family every day and looked forward to a wave as I passed by on the school bus. I didn't know John personally, but as a Team Member at the Toyota, please accept my condolences. I feel I speak for all of us at TMMK when I say that we are a close group here, a community and a family all our own, and when we lose a member, we all grieve.

John Carr was a wonderful friend to my parents, Bob and Jean Murphy. He was always available to help them in any way he could. I know he will be greatly missed by them, and by his church, Caney Fork Baptist. Caney Fork Baptist is my home church, and I know that folks there love deeply. I know they are grieving their loss, but celebrating heaven's gain. I met John at Caney Fork when he was speaking as the evangelist. FANTASTIC PREACHING! God is good and is always in control, and has a plan. Our prayers are with his wife and children, and his church.
