I will play "Nearer My God to Thee" for Roger
James E Vandelly
September 5, 2011
My sincere condolences. I knew Roger. I taught Government at Wakefield High School between 1969 and 1997. I notice that he taught at W-L, but somewhere along the way, I got to know him and liked him. I think he was at Wakefield for a while, maybe as an administrator. Nevertheless, I remember what a great guy he was.--Jim Vandelly (Social Studies Dept)

Mr. Coggins was my baseball coach in Sevier County High School in l956 and I was sorry to hear of his passing. I had no idea he lived in Knoxville. He was a good man and a good coach.
