A wonderful man I have beautiful memories of a loving Pastor that offered my family encouragement and love. He was my Pastor at Newnan Springs. May he now receive his rewards and hear the words of Jesus Christ " well Done my faithful servant"

I have known Sidney Tate for many years. He was the Director of Admissions at LaGrange College when I transferred there in 1969. He was a very fine Christian man and a wonderful example for many students. He was very professional and helped many students to attend college. I myself later became the Director of Admissions at LC and always made every effort to be as kind and helpful to others as he was to me. He will be greatly missed.

It is hard to put into words how special Sidney was to my family. Having Baptized all of us, married one daughter, renewed our vows, comforted us on the deaths of our parents and on and on. He was so much a part of our lives. Know that his loss is felt so deeply and Heaven has gained a true Angle. Wayne White and family

Sidney's bright and engaging personality will be missed. I've known him literally all my life. His father was pastor at LaGrange First UMC when I was born, came back as LaGrange District Superintendent when I was a teen, and was pastor at Oxford when I was choir director there. Sidney was a dear friend to my mother who still lives in LaGrange. We grieve at his loss and send our heartfelt condolences to Enid and the family.

Sidney was a special Hospice volunteer who gave love, attention, and spiritual support to so many of our West Ga Hospice patients, their families, and to our staff. He provided special care to our nursing home patients for a long time. We loved the twinkle in his eye and his special way of telling a story. We will forever be grateful for his many years of volunteer service to us. Much love to all of your family!
