Carole Auerbach Obituary

Auerbach, Carole
Carole Auerbach passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren on October 13, 2010 at the age of 79.

A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Carole was a fountain of wisdom for all those fortunate enough to be touched by her compassion and understanding.

A planner, a thinker, and a doer, Carole had a fantastic sense of humor and could charm the smallest child and the most elderly amongst us with her immense creativity, sharp wit and imagination.

Carole stood by "her guy" Larry for 61 years, sharing a life filled with happiness and laughter, centered on the loving family they nurtured. Carole was the perfect partner for Larry and together they built a storied career in the entertainment business and created life long friendships around the world. They were a great team that relished telling stories of a life well lived, often completing each others sentences.

Carole had the innate ability to make people feel comfortable in her presence allowing them to express themselves deeply so that many now feel as though they've lost their best friend.

Carole was a great mother to her three sons, David, Bruce and Stephen. She was adored by her six grandchildren: Samantha, Alex, Zach, Katie, Chloe and Lily, and her daughter-in-law, Joy.

Daughter of Lottie Rich and Edward Kleinman, Carole was born in Brooklyn, New York were she was raised along with her cousin Michael Kleinman, who she loved like a brother.

There was a private service for the family at Hillside Memorial Park on Friday, October 15th. There will also be a celebration of her life on Wednesday, October 27th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made (in her name) to the American Lung Association.
