Mae Mineo was one of a kind....a sweet and caring person. I had a hard time when growing up and Mae would always take the time to talk. She gave me my first dance teaching experience in her studio in Canoga Park, CA (1972). Many years later, after I had children... I started my own dance studio in Oak park, CA .... Mae taught tap for me until she moved up north. I spoke with her in 2001; she told me she was enjoying life and ballroom dancing. She encouraged me to learn ballroom; which I did and later began teaching. I'll never forget you Mae. Thank you for being that special person in my life.
