GILBERT SANCHEZ Obituary
Survivors include his loving triplets, Gilbert T., Melonie M. and Gerald A. Sanchez all of Las Cruces; his mother, Maria M. Sanchez of Anthony; his father, Luis C. Sanchez of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Luis Sanchez, Jr. and wife Teresa, Hector Sanchez and wife Eleanor, Mike Sanchez and wife Irma all of Anthony; two sisters, Yvette Sanchez –Joaquin and husband Isaac, Lisa Sanchez all of Austin, Texas. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Panfilo Dueñez Sr. his paternal grandparents, Francisco Sr. and Parjedes Sanchez; uncles, Francisco Jr. and Roberto C. Sanchez and a cousin, David Dueñez.
Visitation for Gilbert will begin at 6 PM Thursday, March 25, 2010 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 224 Lincoln Avenue where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Mass at 10 AM Friday, March 26, 2010 in the same church with Reverend Andres Alava officiating. Cremation will follow and inurnment of cremains will be held at a later date.
Serving as casket bearers will be Gilbert T., Jr., Gerald, Josh, Jose Luis "Pee Wee", Mikey and Ernie Sanchez. Honorary bearers will be Joseph, Enrique "Kiki", Luis Jr., Hector, Mike and Rudy Sanchez.
Gilbert was a very loving and caring person who will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.

I know Gilbert experienced a great deal of suffering in the last years of his life. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in any pain, and finally resting.
