Lucille B. Lutz

Lucille B. Lutz MYERSTOWN Lucille B. "Lucy" Lutz, 78, died unexpectedly Friday, April 5, 2013, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Richard D. Lutz, with whom she celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on September 4, 2012. She was born on August 26, 1934, in Lebanon, to the late Samuel and Sarah (Donmoyer) McKinney. Lucy worked for many years as a presser in garment factories in Lebanon, including Milsan Mills and for most of her career at S. Kantor Company, where she retired as a floor lady in 1996. She was known for her good cooking and baking. She was also a great supporter of fast pitch softball which several of her nephews played. Lucy and Richard also helped out in the refreshment stand at the Prescott (now Lutz Family) Field for many years. She loved spending time with family and served as an officer of the Lutz Family Reunion for many years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved like they were her own children and grandchildren. Several cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by sister, Anna May (McKinney) Cale Orner, and brother, Sterling McKinney. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Kochenderfer's "Zion" Cemetery, N. Lebanon Twp.
