Dennis E. Wampler

LEBANON Dennis E. Wampler, 63, of 841 Mt. Pleasant Road, Lebanon, South Annville Twp., died Monday January 16, 2012, in his residence. He was the husband of Sharon L. Ebersole Wampler with whom he would have celebrated their 42nd Wedding Anniversary this coming April. Born in Lebanon on November 8, 1948, he was the son of Gladys A. Lentz Wampler of Palmyra and the late Harold E. Wampler. He was a self-employed dairy farmer at Shar-A-Den Farms, South Annville Township and presently a crop farmer doing custom work for other farmers. Dennis was a 1966 gradaute of Annville-Cleona High School and a member of the Lebanon County Land Preservation Board and the Cedar Crest Young Farmers. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are a son Daryl L. husband of Danell Wampler of Rockledge; two daughters, Andrea L. wife of John Harrell of South Annville, Stacey L. wife of Brent Copenhaver of South Annville; seven grandchildren, Amber, Allyson, and Amy Wampler, Alayna Harrell, Ethan, Emma, and Tanner Copenhaver; and two sisters, Barbara A. wife of Lynn Sterner of Manheim, and Kaye W. wife of Lon Anderson of Harrisburg. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the Lebanon Evangelical Free Church, 600 Shepherd St., Jonestown. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in South Annville Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E.
