EDNA PETERSON Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Irene Peterson, dearly loved by her family and friends. Edna passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 with family and loving care givers by her side at the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home. The teamwork, compassion and care given by the staff at Santa Maria was commendable and truly helped Edna feel at home and safe. She was predeceased by her husband Bob; her parents Edmund and Lena; her family Villa (Ron), Lawrence, Alfred, Walter, Edward, Lorne, Albert (Marlene), Donny, Ronald, Lloyd (Ellie) and Barney; nephews Wayne S, Lyle and Wayne W. She is survived by her children Randy (Heather), Colleen (Karl), Kathy (Nick) and Sheri; grandchildren Erik, Thomas (Susan), Rhett, Jeremy (Stacey), Marcina and Michael (Shannon); and great-grandchild Kylar. She is also survived by beloved family Evelyn (Sam), Martha, Edith, Joyce, Agnes, Ross and Kay; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. All who knew Edna enjoyed her warm and inviting smiles and laughter. We will come together for A CELEBRATION OF EDNA'S LIFE at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4th Avenue North, Regina, SK, on Friday, February, 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Edna may be made to the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home-Recreation Department, 4215 Regina Avenue, Regina, SK. Remembering a dear friend and co-worker as she ends her earthly journey. We shared so many laughs and a few tears over the years. I will always remember her love for family and her delight in your antics and the joy you all brought to her life.

With deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mom. I just read the Church bulletin with the announcement. It brought back so many wonderful memories of your Mom when I was there with Colleen back in public school. I remember her beautiful smile. May your happy memories sustain you at this difficult time. She will live on in the hearts of those who love her.

To all of Edna's family: I am so sorry to have missed Edna's funeral today...totally missed reading it in the paper and heard from a friend tonight. My deepest sympathy goes out to all the family...Edna was a lovely person! Sincerely Betty(Irven)Wagner.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. Randy, Collen and Kathy, and the family. I can see it now, your mom and dad and our mother cooking, laughing, and singing Good Night Irene. Our mothers were the closest of friends in work and in family. They are now all together again.
