Walley WILD Obituary
July 4, 1946 – July 1, 2014
Walley was predeceased by his parents Katherine and Phil Wild. He leaves behind his sister Brenda Barbaro, the "Love of his life," Fran Waterfield, his children; Sheri (Derek), Jason, Dustin, Logan, Cloe. You will be missed by all. Walley's passions were hunting, snow mobile racing and, boating. He was also an avid Rough Rider fan, season ticket holder for 38 years. Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue E. A Funeral Service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Walley's name, made to a charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.

Walley was a sweet gentle person who always had a twinkle in his eye! As his older cousin I remember him playing with us while our parents fished and visited. He was usher at our wedding and a thoughtful son to his parents in their last years. We extend our sympathy to his children.

Wally was always fun to play with in our younger days. Our families spent many a Sunday fishing at Val Port near Craven. As the second oldest cousin I had to babysit my younger cousins but not Walley as he was only 2 years younger than me. He enjoyed being with his cousins and friends. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Fran, so sorry for your loss. I only got to know Walley in his last few years as my neighbor and what a great neighbor. His sense of humour, dedication to others and so much more sure made for some of the best days for me. I know he will be missed by many especially yourself. If you ever need to just sit and talk, you know where to find me. Rest in peace Walley and PS, we have started working on my shed that you so much wanted to be a part of. I know you are there with us with every nail and screw that goes in. Until we meet again!!

Fran & Family--My name is Fran Baker. I have known Walley for many, many years. I just talked to him a couple of months ago. He heard that I was very sick, but he didn't tell me that he was sick. My deepest sympathy & condolences to you & your Family. I will do my best to make it to the funeral.
