HOWARD FOUST
DELPHOS — Howard L. Foust Sr., 93, died at 7:29 p.m. Aug. 9, 2014, at Richland Manor.
He was born July 31, 1921, in Lima to Dewey and Margaret Kerschner Foust, who preceded him in death. On May 2, 1941, he married Dorothy, who died on Jan. 31, 2014.
Mr. Foust enjoyed fishing and crossword puzzles. He truly enjoyed cars especially race cars. He was a member of the Delphos Eagles Aerie 471. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 25 years in the quality control department.
Survivors include two sons, Howard L. (Reida) Foust Jr. of Lima, and Michael A. (Pat) Foust, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; a daughter, Patricia A. Foust, of Lima; and five grandchildren, Reid (Kelly) Foust, Allen (Tina) Foust, Laura Adkins, Melissa (Ryan) Moore, and Michael Scott (Cherie) Foust.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph and Pauline Foust, and Robert and Virginia Foust.
Services will begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
