Lola-Please accept my condolence on Dean's passing. Our family lived "across the field" near Oakford. When I was ill one summer as a teenager Dean loaned all his Hardy Boys books to read.My brother Dick ,who passed away recently, idolized Dean as he was growing up and always thought fondly of him. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. The first image that comes to mind when remembering Dean is a large and welcoming smile. The trips to Mt. Pulaski to visit the Toohey family when in Illinois have always been delightful and Dean certainly helped make sure that was so. Please know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time.
