Albert Speth Obituary

Albert Edgar Speth of Phoenix, Arizona and formerly from Lodi, was called home to be with our Lord on July 25, 2009 after a short battle with cancer.
He was born to Adolph and Viola Speth on September 2, 1933 along with this twin brother, Alfred. He lived in the Riverbank area a short time and later grew up in the Watsonville area.
He married Marjorie Sturm in 1952 and together had 7 children whom he loved deeply.
He served in the Marines from 1953-1956 and the Air Force from 1956-1959.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for over 30 years. While living in Lodi he worked for Lodi Truck Service and retired from the Teamsters Union in 1997.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting and later in years gardening and making things from the cactus he would find and giving them to his family and friends. He mostly enjoyed visiting with his family and friends and also had the need to help others in tough times.
He is survived by his 7 children and spouses: Cynthia Bohren (Fred), Roland Speth (Betty), Rodney Speth, Raymond Speth (Maria), Randall Speth, Marjorie Morris (Kevin) and Cheryl Smith (Brian). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; his present wife, Deborah, step-children Mark and Michelle and 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 5 brothers.
A celebration of his life will be held in Arizona with his family and friends.

Al, I say goodbye to you and thanks for some good child hood memories. You opened your home to me when I first moved to Lodi. Cinch was my first friend and we remain friends today.
God Bless You And I'll See You When I See You. Judi Barone (Hobbs)
