Dr. Romano, or Vic as he insisted we call him at our office was truly a patient that stood out to me. I work for the optimetrist he used and truly looked forward to his appointments. Whether it was sharing life stories of his family and how much he adored his children and grandchildren, gifting a unique wisdom to me, sharing many stories of his time in the service or of his career as a physician, I truly felt a connection with him. I know he is now with his wife, whom he talked of with admiration and love each time I saw him. Vic and I shared a birthday (60 years between) and the last time I had the pleasure of talking to him he joked "no wonder I like you so much! We're attatched!"
I know that seeing him on average, just one or two times a year, makes it hard to explain the pain I feel knowing he will never walk through our doors or share more secrets of life with us; but I just needed to let his family know how much this lovely man impacted my life. Imagine the lives he touched... Every single day. I will continue to thank God for the chance of knowing him.

Spent many mornings at breakfast in Dalton Farm with him. A wonderful man with a great personality . And also a devout conservative republican (Rare)
