Abajian, Harry

Harry Abajian 97, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on April 16, 2013 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on Sept.23,1915 to the late John and Anna (nee Jevalagian) Abajian in NYC. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion. Harry was owner operator of Lexington Plumbing Supply in Bronx, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria (nee Onigian) Abajian of Thornwood, N.Y. and by his loving children, Janice (Michael) Blanco of Ames, Iowa, Margaret (Thomas) Fogarasi of Thornwood, N.Y. and Frank (Linda Sode) Abajian of Port Chester, N.Y. one sister, Roxie Valentine of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Lisa, Melanie, Glenn, Dean, Jaime and Chelcie. Predeceased by his one sister and two brothers. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Thursday, 4-8 PM. where funeral services will be held on Friday 12 Noon. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
