Colleen Vidal Obituary
Colleen Bray Vidal, 63, of Piermont, passed away suddenly on February 27, 2016. Colleen was born October 3, 1952 in the Bronx to Marion and Philip Bray. At an early age, she moved with her family to Blauvelt. She graduated from Rosary Academy High School in 1971. She worked for many years as a manager in the food industry and in corporate catering. Colleen embraced life, loved her family and grandsons dearly, and was eagerly looking forward to becoming a grandmother for the third time.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Arturo Vidal of Piermont; her son, Christopher Johnson and her daughter-in-law, Katrina, of Blauvelt; her daughter, Vinessa Rispoli, of Thompsonville; two grandsons, Sean Black and Dominick Esposito; her brother, Philip Bray and his wife, Barbara, of Tappan, and nephew Philip Bray. Her parents and a sister, Kathleen Bray Tyndall, predeceased her. She is also survived by her niece, Nicole Tyndall, her aunts, Frances DiMenna and Lorraine Vara, and many cousins and close friends.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 2, 10am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Tappan with burial to follow at Tappan Cemetery.

My most sincere condolences to Colleen's family. I am reflecting on the laughter-filled hours spent with Colleen, her mom, and my mom, in their kitchen (and ours) so many years ago. I am so sorry for your loss, and hurting hearts.

I know this lovely lady from 8 years in St. Catherine's together. Sweet, gentle, pretty and an easy laugh. Colleen, I loved you in my childhood world.

Dear Family,
I was so saddened to learn of Colleen's passing. We were classmates at St Catherine's & then together again at Rosary Academy.
In 1981, I moved to Florida and lost touch with many in the Blauvelt area. But remarkably Colleen sent me a message via Facebook just a few days ago on Feb 20th. There had been just a few bits of short correspondence exchanged in a few days, and I'm so sorry we didn't make arrangements to talk.
My memories of Colleen as a child & as a young woman was how sweet & caring she was.
My deepest condolences to the Bray & Vidal families
