James A. Mantey passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 in Tarrytown, New York.
Born on November 5,1979, James was the oldest child and only son of Una and Jesse -Amos Mantey.
James is survived by his handsome and loving son, Kayden James Mantey, and his loving parents Una and Jesse, younger sisters Misty Mantey and Michelle Mulligan, nephews Jahlias, Jayden, and Prince, a niece Amor as well as many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins across the world, and countless friends. We will miss him dearly.
Home-going services for James will begin with a viewing on Thursday, February 2nd from 3-8pm and will be followed by his funeral on Friday, February 3rd at 10am at St. Teresa of Avila Church at 130 Beekman Ave. Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a fund that has been established in his memory to assist with his son Kayden's future college tuition.
