Rudy Bourteiller Obituary

BOUTEILLER RUDY F., 96, of Louisville, died Monday, March 6, 2006 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a retired jeweler and silversmith, and co-owner of the old Rudy J. Bouteiller Jewelers. He was a member of the Harry R. Kendall Masonic Lodge #750 F & AM, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, a 50 year life member of the Kosair Shrine, a Kentucky Colonel, and a long time member of the Shawnee Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his step-daughter, Rose Woods; a nephew, Rudy C. Beavin (Peggy); a great niece, Elizabeth York (Oliver); great nephews, John Beavin (Jill) and Michael Beavin; and many other caring relatives and friends. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Highway with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to Kosair Charities.

Uncle Rudy will be sadly missed by many of us. Rudy was responsible for me entering the Blue Lodge, York Rite, and Shrine. May the Grand Architect of the Universe welcome him home.
