Augustine Royalty Obituary

ROYALTY, AUGUSTINE "AUGIE" (WARDER), 78, of Louisville, passed on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.

Augie was born in Munfordville, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Beechland Baptist Church.

Augie was also a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #159, American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery Volunteer Program, PRP Women's Club, Filson Club, and the Hart County Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy R. Royalty Jr.

Augie is survived by her two children, Troy "Rick" Royalty, III and Rebecca "Becky" Logsdon (Bennie); two grandchildren, Melinda Coleman (Steve) and Marissa Royalty; and one sister, Joyce W. Harris (Ken). She was also a second mom to many and a friend to all.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Augie was a wonderful and interesting person to talk to about genealogy. She was always willing to share her information and she was so very knowledgeable. I am sure she is really enjoying visiting all our relatives in heaven.
