Michael Wright Obituary

WRIGHT, MICHAEL FLOYD, originally from Bowling Green, KY, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010.

Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Marie Wright of Bowling Green, KY.

He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Bowling Green, and was a proud member of the Carolina Kennel Club of Greensboro. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was a National Sport Karate Judge.

He is survived by his wife, Holly Guy of Greensboro, NC; his son, Thomas Michael Wright and fiancée Kelsey Hamblen of Louisville; grandson, William Wright of Louisville; stepson, Casey Guy of Greensboro, NC; sister, Patsy Myers of Louisville, KY; and brother, Tom Mayler of Winter Haven, FL.

A memorial service will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N. Dixie Boulevard, Radcliff, Kentucky 40160. Please send inquiries regarding the date and time to [email protected].

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kentucky Veterans Administration, via their website at www.veterans.ky.gov or to the Kentucky Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at 301 West Main Street, Suite 100, Louisville, KY, 40202.
