Frederick J. 'Bud' Fentross
longtime Tewksbury resident, Army Vet; 80

TEWKSBURY -- Frederick J. "Bud" Fentross, age 80, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away on June 1, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Jeanne L. (Boisvert) Fentross, who passed away on May 4, 2003.

Born in Medford on June 8, 1930, he was the son of the late John F. Fentross and Annie J. (Sullivan) Fentross. Fred was raised in Medford and graduated from Medford High School.

Following graduation, he enlisted in the Army and served during the Korean War.

He resided in Tewksbury for 60 years until moving to Bradenton, Florida.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an Account Manager for local dairy companies.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending car races and fishing.

Fred is survived by his children, Frederick J. Jr. of Groveland, MA, Matthew A. of Sarasota, FL, Paul W. and his wife Donna, Jeffrey P. and his wife Nancy and Peter B. Frentross and his wife Colleen all of Tewksbury, Julie A. Corsetti and her husband Robert of Dover, NH and Cynthia M. Fentross of Lancaster; eight grandchildren, Alexander Corsetti, Jonathan, Brittany, David, Jesse, Julia and Timothy Fentross and Melissa Mann; three great grandchildren, Sarina, Saro and Paige Mann; one sister, Mary P. Farnam of Winchester; also many nieces and nephews.

Fred was the brother of the late John and Francis Fentross, Pauline Curtin, Julia Carr and Christine Conway, and father-in-law of the late Jeanie Woelfle.

FENTROSS -- Frederick J. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, June 18, at 10 a.m., at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, Tewksbury. www.farmeranddee.com
