Josephine A. Swistak
of Lowell, MA; 91

LOWELL, MA -- Josephine A. Swistak, 91, died peacefully Saturday, June 9th, at D'Youville Manor in Lowell. She was the beloved widow of the late Bert A. Swistak.

Born in Lowell on July 8, 1920, Josephine was the daughter of John and Katherine (Fall) Skoczulek. She was educated in Lowell and also worked as a sticher in the Lowell Knitting Mills. She was a long time member of the Polish American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Club in Lowell.

Josephine is survived and will be deeply missed by her children Bert F. Swistak, his wife Jean and son Paul Wells, Deborah J. (Swistak) Quimby her husband Glenn and children Garrett M. Quimby and Gabrielle G. Quimby of Dunstable as well as many nieces and nephews.

SWISTAK -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday morning, June 15th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her Funeral Mass will follow at Holy Trinity Polish Church in Lowell, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery also in Lowell.
