Alice Boersma Obituary

Alice (Abma) Boersma Alice (Abma) Boersma, Age 87 went to be with her Lord April 13, 2010 while at Eaton Community Hospice, Charlotte, MI. She was born November 19, 1922 in Wommels, Netherlands. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, in 1999, and her sister, Betty, in 2008. She is survived by her children: George (Margie) Boersma, Lansing, MI, Terri (Jim) Leenstra, Grand Ledge, MI and Sandi (Bob) Lott, Branchville, NJ. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Alice spent most of her life in Sussex County, NJ. She was a charter member of the Sussex Christian Reformed Church, and was very active there as organist, bulletin maker and Sunday school teacher for many years until her move to Michigan 6 years ago. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. April 22, 2010 at Independence Village, Grand Ledge, MI 48837. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to Eaton Community Hospice, 2675 South Cochran, Charlotte, MI 48813. Arrangements by Ferguson Funeral Home 27 Third St. Sussex, NJ.
