Benjamin Pulver Obituary

Benjamin Reitz Pulver Lansing Passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the age of 79. Born March 15, 1931 to Theodore and Merle Pulver. Benjamin retired from Fisher Body where he worked for 30 years. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a life member of the VFW Post #701. Benjamin was a talented artist, an avid fisherman, and loved classical music. He was a loving father and grandfather that will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, David; and daughter-in-law, Carol Pulver. Surviving are sister, Ellynor Coon; children, Corbyn (Mark) Hanley of Portland, Sean (Amy) Pulver, Cyndi Tarasevic and Kait Carpenter all of Lansing; grandchildren, Mandy Brzezinski, Corinne Mills, Megan FitzPatrick, Sean Patrick Pulver, Audrey Hanley; great-granddaughter, Avery FitzPatrick and several nieces and nephews. The family sincerely thanks the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans for their special care. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
