Julian Pregulman Julian Pregulman, long-time Los Angeles resident and prominent West Side realtor died on August 1 in Rancho Mirage, CA. The 88-year old Pregulman, who was born in NY in 1920, lived with his family for many years in East Lansing/Lansing and graduated from Lansing Central High School. In 1959, Julian moved to Los Angeles. He retired from Coldwell Banker Realty in 2001 and moved to Palm Desert in 2002. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Julian worked in the family business at Pregulman Furniture in Lansing, MI. He attended Michigan State University but graduated from the University of Michigan in 1942. He served in Europe during World War II with the U. S. Army as a Lieutenant. Julian was preceded in death by Ruth, his wife of 53 years. He is survived by his brother Merv and his wife Helen Pregulman of Chattanooga, TN and his sister, Renee Dubin of West Hartford, CT. Survivors also include his daughter Nancy of Marina del Rey, CA, daughter Judy and her husband Rick Hopelain of Mill Valley, CA and son Steve and his wife Nancy of Saratoga, CA. He is survived by 4 grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews and over 20 grand nieces and grand nephews. The funeral was held at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
