Mary Rawson Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Rawson Lansing Born March 20, 1930, in Lansing; died October 6, 2009, at the age of 79. Mary was active in Valley Farms Baptist Church and Tower Hart Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at the LPD North Precinct and secretary of North Town Neighborhood Association. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Rawson and stepdaughter, Carol Teems. Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Boltin; son, Earl (Sabrina) Rawson; stepchildren, Evelyn Kinch, Ruth (Ronald) Johnson and John Rawson; 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, at 2 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, P.O.
