Maurice Albertson Obituary

Maurice "Moe" Albertson Lansing Moe passed away on December 21, 2010 at the age 85. He was born on March 30, 1925 in Lansing, Michigan. Moe lead a full life and was devoted to God and his family. He graduated from J. W. Sexton. Moe served his country in the Navy during WWII on the USS Los Angeles CA 135. He later received a degree in Electronics. His passion was carpentry. He worked over 50 years installing floor covering and counter tops, retiring in 1989. His remaining years were spent enjoying life with his family and friends. Moe was proceeded in death by his parents Richard Albertson and Flossie (Happy) Richards; son Ronald Albertson; grandsons Stewart and Joshua Bender. He is survived by his spouse, Virginia (Ginny); daughters Pat (Leon) Peek, Linda (Arthur) Montalvo, Nancy (Michael) Hill; son James Albertson; grandchildren Doug, Rachel, Jessica, Aaron, Amanda, Justin, Tyler and Lindsey; and great-grandchildren Austin, Blake, Rene', Noah, Chelsea, Siearah, Lynaee, Justin (JJ). A tribute to Moe's life was held at 2:00p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home. A special thank you to Hospice Advantage staff for all of your kindness and support.
