Marjorie Sheue-Huei Cheng

After a prolonged illness, Marjorie Sheue-Huei Cheng ended her earthly journey peacefully at home on August 16, 2016 surrounded by her family.  She was a dearly beloved wife and mother of three.  She is survived by her husband, Dr. John K.M. Cheng, of fifty-three years, their three daughters, Betty H.C. Cheng (Philip McKinley), Lilly H.C. Cheng Immergluck (Dan Immergluck), and Jenny Y.C. Cheng-Serfass (Steve Serfass), and seven grandchildren (David, Paul, Sarah, Katherine, Anna, Benjamin, and Hannah).

Marjorie Sheue-Huei Cheng was born on August 7, 1934 in Tuling, Fujian Province, China.  She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian College of Science and Engineering in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.  She worked as a chemical engineer in Chicago, Illinois until the birth of her first child. Since then, Marjorie Sheue-Huei Cheng devoted her life to raise their three children.  She lived the better part of her adult life in Wichita, Kansas and later lived out her final years close to her eldest daughter in East Lansing, Michigan.

A memorial service for friends and extended family will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation 2-3:00 pm, all of which will be at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI.
